No Services This Sunday

Please enjoy this post-Christmas weekend with your family and loved ones! We’ve given our staff and volunteers the weekend off, but we’ll resume on January 4 in the Lazzara Theater of the UNF Fine Arts Center.

Don’t miss the launch of a new series, “Go Fish.” It’s a great set of messages that explore what Jesus meant when he said he would make his disciples “fishers of men.”

Oh, and on January 4, keep in mind that with the larger room, we no longer have a 9:00am service. See you at 10:30am!… Read the rest

Merry Christmas!

Enjoy your family today as you celebrate the amazing free gift we have been given in Jesus Christ!

Because of him, we have new life that can’t be earned or deserved. It’s a gift! Amazing.

See you January 4, 10:30am, for the launch of “Go Fish.”… Read the rest

Not-So-Silent Night

Join Access Church for a different kind of Christmas Eve!

It’s going to be a fun service. Lots of fun. In our new room! Oh yeah, and it’ll be kinda loud.

Waumba Land will be open for children aged six-weeks to five-years-old. Elementary-aged children are welcome to join us in the 45-minute service.

Andy Stanley & Rich Barrett will be sharing, “Choosing Christmas,” and we invite you to stay after the service for hot chocolate and cookies.

You’ll definitely want to be inviting friends. Lots and lots of them. Email them right now and send them a link to this site:

New Digs!

Access Church has found a new home!

Don’t worry, you won’t have to learn new directions or parking…we’re in the same building we’ve always been—just in a much nicer room!

Our first service in the Lazzara Theater will be our Christmas Eve Service, “Not-So-Silent Night.” (Invite a friend for a different kind of Christmas Eve!)

There will be no services on Sunday, December 28, but we’re excited about starting the new year in our new auditorium on January 4 at 10:30am!

The new room is substantially larger than our current room, providing opportunities for growth and allowing us to create environments more like the North Point, Buckhead, and Browns Bridge campuses.

More seats means more opportunities to invite friends to hear the life-changing message of grace and practical, biblical teaching from Andy Stanley, Adam, and myself.

As you look at the picture above, imagine your friend, co-worker, neighbor, or relative sitting there developing an intimate relationship with God—perhaps for the first time!… Read the rest

Track Spending Online

Walking through the LO$T series together has been rocking some of our worlds! What a timely, relevant series on our personal finances!

From the beginning of this series, we’ve said that the best way to get “un-lost” is to know where we are—to gain context.

Here are some helpful tools that you can start with right away. Each is an online tool to help you track and categorize spending by syncing in real time with your bank accounts, including debit- and credit-card transactions. Start today knowing where your money is going!

Mint.com
The first of the free utilities, and regularly adding features. I’ve experienced a 24-48 hour delay in syncing with my bank account, but other than that it’s pretty smooth.

Quicken Online
The newest offering in the free category, from the personal finance giant Intuit. I’m guessing there’ll be easy upgrade paths to more robust paid options. I’m also guessing Intuit will remind you of those upgrade paths often. But hey, free is free!… Read the rest
