Rich & Stephanie Barrett

Stephanie and Rich are both originally from South Florida and love having the opportunity to lead other families to know God personally. God has richly blessed Rich and Stephanie with deep, authentic friendships and four children aged 13, 12, 10, and 7. Their family can usually be found near a body of water enjoying sailing, waterskiing, swimming, and building sand castles. They love camping and believe that heaven might actually be located in the mountains near Asheville, NC. More about the Barretts.

Kevin Bunnell

Kevin is skilled with lights, sound, and video, but even better, he’s a great guy to work with. Kevin holds degrees from Cedarville University and Trinity International University, with a strong background in media. Originally from Ohio, Kevin moved to Jacksonville to help launch Access Church and practice living “open-handed.” He recently married Ashley, who he met here in Jacksonville. More about Kevin.

Darin & Sarah Peckham

Darin is Florida native from Port Orange who moved to Jacksonville after receiving a scholarship to attend the music program at the University of North Florida. Since then, Darin has been deeply rooted in the Jacksonville music scene. Darin works closely with the worship leaders, musicians, creative and production teams that create the adult worship environments at Access Church. Darin is married to Sarah and is the proud father of Ruby. More about the Peckhams.

Doug & Janie Hurley

Doug and Janie joined the Access staff in late 2010. Doug is a former Army helicopter pilot and works in the pharmaceutical industry. Doug and Janie are the proud parents of Annabelle. They have served in Waumba Land since coming to Access from St. Louis. Doug was a team coach and Janie is a family ministry guest host. Doug has taken the reigns of Waumba Land and helps to continue to make it one of the best places for preschoolers and young families this side of Disney. (A little exaggeration, but you get the point).

Kelli Richards

Kelli grew up in Miami and lived in central Florida before moving to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. She graduated in the spring of 2007 and started attending Access that August. She volunteered with 1- and 4-year-olds before landing in UpStreet as a coach. She found her passion in UpStreet and joined our staff as the director of UpStreet small groups in 2011. Kelli loves to see kids “get” the fact that God loves them and has a plan for their lives. She also loves sports and helps coach varsity softball. She doesn’t have much free time, but when she does, you can find her spending time with her family and friends.

Mike VonBalson

Together with the UpStreet worship team, storytellers, and production team, Mike Von Balson works hard to create an awesome environment in UpStreet that keeps kids coming back. Mike was born and raised in Jacksonville. He plays the drums and loves the beach, biking, and sports. He and his wife, Shannon, have been married 11 years and are the parents of Devon (10), Cooper (7), and Sadie (4). Their Italian greyhound, Odie Wan Kenobi, keeps the family laughing.
